From Pamlico County in the east to Buncombe, Haywood, Alleghany Counties and the Cherokee Central Schools in the west, EdNC is on the road this week.

There is a virtual summit on public ed on October 21 being convened by The 19th — a nonprofit, nonpartisan newsroom reporting at the intersection of gender, politics and policy. Here is more information.

Village of Wisdom is looking for a “Culture Curator” who deeply believes in the Black community and supporting Black parents to leverage their collective, cultural strength to create spaces in schools where the genius of Black children are affirmed and maximized. As the Culture Curator, you will lead the Village of Wisdom team in living up to its organizational values by owning and executing all HR and Talent Management related functions.
