BEST NC’s 3rd edition of Facts & Figures: Education in North Carolina has hundreds of data points and graphics, giving education stakeholders – from parents to politicians – the most readable education data resource in North Carolina.

“Found at www.NCEdFacts.org, the 2017 Facts & Figures guide presents critical and digestible information on students, schools, programs, and educators along with robust trend data in school finance and student achievement,” says Brenda Berg, President, and CEO of BEST NC. “The breadth and depth of this information helps education advocates focus on new ideas, instead of spending time trying to uncover basic facts.”

The 2017 edition of our Facts & Figures guide has updated and new data from the 2016 guide. “We started asking for input last summer, and the new book includes dozens of improvements that were recommended by educators and leaders from across North Carolina. We are proud of the inclusive approach we took to compiling this information,” says BEST NC Policy Analyst, Alex Modestou.
