William Gomory

Bill is a product of the Community College System. He received his Associate of Arts from Miami-Dade Community College, which inspired his dedication to serving the community college concept. Bill went on to graduate from Florida Atlantic University and had a successful career in banking, retiring as the Alamance County Market President for Branch Banking and Trust Company, in 2015. Bill has served as a Board Member and past President of the Alamance Community College Foundation, Chairman of the Board for Alamance County Chamber of Commerce, and Board Chair and Campaign Chair for the United Way of Alamance County. Bill is in his sixth year of service on the Alamance Community College Board of Trustees, where he currently serves as Board Chair.
