Vance Kite

Dr. Vance Kite is the director of the Kenan Fellows Program at NC State University, a nationally recognized model for teacher leadership and K-12 education advancement. A 2012-13 Kenan Fellow and the first program alumnus to lead the organization, Dr. Kite is a passionate advocate for investing in teachers as professionals and as bridges between education and the workforce. His research on science education and teacher professional development has produced numerous scholarly publications and more than 30 presentations at international education research conferences. He holds a Ph.D. in Teaching and Learning in STEM from NC State University.
