Tim Reaves believes education is the pathway to a better life, and he wants to share stories of student success at Buncombe County Schools. He studied journalism at Appalachian State University (’09) and gained experience as a reporter, photographer, and content editor at The Independent Tribune in Concord, North Carolina, and The Franklin Press in Franklin, North Carolina. Reaves enjoys playing guitar and singing in the band Brother Bluebird. He also enjoys hiking and kayaking in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, landscape photography, good food, good music, good coffee, and good books.
