Tim Hurley
Tim is a fifth-generation public school teacher and graduate of Mississippi public schools. He graduated from Vanderbilt University and Stanford Law School. During law school, Tim interned for the Mississippi Center for Justice, a public interest law firm committed to advancing racial and economic justice. Tim joined Teach For America in 2002 as a corps member in the Mississippi Delta, where he taught fourth grade and served as grade-level department chair. He has served as executive director in Charlotte since 2008. Tim is a member of Christ Central Church in NoDa and teaches Sunday school with his wife Susie.
