Tammy Barron has served students with disabilities in various settings, including preschool, elementary, secondary, and higher education in North Carolina over the past twenty-five years. She is an assistant professor at Western Carolina University and the special education administrator of the laboratory school operated by WCU. Her work focuses on research and practice to improve outcomes for students by advocating for the needs of children, families, teachers, support staff, and administrators.
