Sherri Miller is a passionate educator and currently an elementary school principal who has spent the past 33 years working in Wake County Public School System and 20 of those years working to live out the vision: Literacy is a right, not a privilege. She served as the director of literacy and one of the leaders of WAKE Up and Read Community Coalition, which is affiliated with the Campaign for Grade Level Reading. Miller was invited to present to the Governor’s Commission on Access to Sound Basic Education and State Board of Education in January regarding Read to Achieve.
