Meghan Sheldon, a member of the 2021 Teach For America (TFA) corps, teaches second grade at Vandalia Elementary in Guilford County. Meghan is a graduate of Virginia Tech University and worked in youth mental health advocacy prior to joining TFA, with a focus on breaking through socioeconomic barriers preventing historically marginalized populations from receiving equitable mental health services. Meghan was named Rookie Teacher of the Year at her school for the 2021-2022 school year.
