Maurice Baynard is currently a student at Duke University where he is pursuing a master’s degree in public policy from the Sanford School of Public Policy and a J.D. from the Duke University School of Law. He expects to graduate in the Spring of 2021. Baynard grew up and attended elementary and high school in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2012 with a bachelor’s in anthropology and history. After graduation, Baynard worked as an early childhood special education assistant for Minneapolis Public Schools for two years. He then moved to Chicago and worked as a paralegal in intellectual property litigation.
