Mary Alicia Lyons

Mary Alicia Lyons is a National Board Certified educator who currently works as a literacy coach in Chapel Hill-Carrboro City Schools in North Carolina. Mary Alicia is a 2017-2018 Hope Street Group NC Teacher Voice Network fellow. Over her twenty-five year career, she has also worked as a teacher, reading specialist, and summer program administrator. She holds a Bachelors degree in Elementary Education, a Bachelors  degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Reading Education, all from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
