Marcia Weston

Marcia is the Associate Director for Outreach in the Grants, Training, and Outreach Division at the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority (NCSEAA). She provides outreach services to school counselors, financial aid administrators, and college access professionals to help students and parents access financial aid resources to pay for higher education expenses. Marcia also organizes FAFSA completion events throughout the state led by financial aid administrators to help students and families complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). She holds a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology and a PhD from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in Education Leadership and Cultural Foundations. She lives in McLeansville and will soon retire to her original home in Maine.
