Linda Winikoff

Dr. Linda Winikoff received her B.A. from Duke University and M.Ed and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh. Her professional experience includes teaching at a university laboratory school, at public schools where a low percentage of students qualified for free lunch, and most recently, 14 years at a public school where 99% of the students qualified for free lunch. In 2018, she proudly walked with NC teachers and spoke with NC legislators on NC Public Schools Day of Advocacy. Her current focus is expanding the Children Defense Fund’s Freedom School summer enrichment program in the Winston-Salem area.
