Leah Sutton joined The Hunt Institute in the summer of 2016. As a policy analyst, she researches and tracks education policy issues and translates them into publications and curriculum for state-level policymakers. Leah authors policy briefs, primers, and other publications for the Institute’s core audiences and serves as the lead project manager for policymaker convenings, including the Holshouser Legislators Retreat.  She is especially interested in policies related to the teaching profession including recruitment, retention, preparation and evaluation.
