Lakecia Brown currently serves as the Regional Director for the East Carolina University Region. She has acted as an Instructional Coach with the North Carolina New Teacher Support program for the last four years after several successful years as a classroom teacher in Greene and Pitt County. She is also serving as the Curriculum Director/ Coach at the ECU Community School. With her years of education experience, Lakecia believes that in education, we must do what is right and not what is easy.​
