John Geib is Director of the North Carolina Economic Development team for Duke Energy. He is responsible for new and expanding industrial and commercial business recruitment in Duke Energy’s Carolinas’ service territory. Geib joined Duke Energy in 1982 after graduating from the University of Virginia with a Bachelor of Science degree in mechanical engineering. He is a registered professional engineer and certified energy manager. He currently holds board positions on the Greensboro Partnership, The Piedmont Triad Partnership and the North Carolina Trade and Development Fund.
