Jessica Harvey is a veteran high school history teacher with 13 years of experience, currently teaching at E. A. Laney High School in Wilmington. She is the co-founder of Laney Leaders, a teacher leadership program at her school, and a member of Emerging Leaders, a district-wide initiative for educator development. She is also a founding member of the Teaching with Joy Network through UNC Wilmington’s Watson College of Education, where she helps promote joy and resilience in teaching.
