Iheoma U. Iruka is a research professor of public policy and the founding director of the Equity Research Action Coalition with the Frank Porter Graham (FPG) Child Development Institute at the University of North Carolina-Chapel Hill. Iruka led nationwide studies to learn about Black parents and family wellbeing, mental health, and other socio-economic indicators in the pandemic.
