Grace Tippett
Grace Tippett is a senior in the Lyceum Academy at New Hanover High School. She is Co-Editor in Chief of the yearbook, a member of the varsity cheerleading team, and is involved with National Honors Society and Beta Club. Outside of school, she represents Wilmington as the 2018 Azalea Festival Princess and is a competitive dancer with Foxtroupe Dancers at South East Dance Academy. She has participated in many extracurricular programs, including being a page for the North Carolina State Legislature House of Representatives and attending North Carolina Governor’s School East with a concentration in dance. After high school, Tippett hopes to attend either the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill or the University of South Carolina with a major in Journalism and a minor in political science, on a pre-law track. After law school, she hopes to work as a journalist or a lobbyist, and maybe even run for office one day.
