Erica is an native of North Carolina, born and raised in Wake County. She is entering her sixth year in teaching, and has spent most of her time teaching Language Arts and Social Studies to elementary and middle school students. She is passionate about creating opportunities for all children to succeed, an equitable education for all students and honoring education through effective policy.
