Dustin Nichols is a native of Burke County and graduated from UNC-Asheville in 2013. From 2013-16, Nichols taught at Freedom High School and East Burke High School. In teaching, Nichols encourages the use of dynamic software and motivates students through research projects. He is currently pursuing a graduate degree in math at Wake Forest University.
