David Rice is the executive director of Higher Education Works.  David spent 23 years as a reporter, the last 12 as the state capital correspondent for the Winston-Salem Journal.  David grew up on a beef farm in Virginia’s Shenandoah Valley, where he still operates a herd of Angus cattle.
