Dan Schnitzer

Dan Schnitzer is the sustainability coordinator for the Chapel Hill-­Carrboro City School District. Dan looks to implement sustainable practices throughout the district, from energy and water use to waste reduction and school gardens. Dan has consulted with schools internationally on topics ranging from school gardens, mission-­aligned sourcing, and integrating recycling and composting into their operations and education.
