Brianna Atkinson is WUNC’s 2024 Fletcher Fellow and covers higher education in partnership with Open Campus. She recently graduated from UNC-Chapel Hill with a B.A. in journalism and psychology. Her background includes print and audio journalism from several publications in North Carolina. And as a North Carolina native, she’s passionate about local news and reporting that’s inclusive of various voices within the community.
