Bill Kessler is an elementary school principal in a high-poverty school and and holds a doctorate in curriculum and instruction from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He has been an administrator in several elementary schools since 2005. He taught history in high school and middle school, and coached football, soccer, and hockey.
