Betsy Rosenbalm is a NC NTSP Instructional Coach for the ASU Region. She currently supports Elkin City, Watauga County, and Ashe County beginning teachers. Rosenbalm was previously the EC Director, Testing Director, 504 Coordinator, and ESL Coordinator at American Renaissance School in Statesville, NC. Rosenbalm lives in Statesville with her husband, Andy, and their three daughters, Cora (8), Charlotte (7), and Caroline (10 months). Rosenbalm received a B.S. in Elementary Education from ASU, a Master’s Degrees in Reading Education (K-12) and School Administration (K-12) from ASU, and a Doctorate of Education in Curriculum and Instruction from Gardner-Webb University in 2012. Rosenbalm was a NC Teaching Fellow in her undergraduate program at ASU, a finalist for Iredell-Statesville Schools’ Teacher of the Year in 2006, and the Newton-Conover and Region 7 Principal of the Year in 2012-2013.
