Amy Parker Bowman is the executive director of communications and public relations at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute. She has been with the college since 2006. Prior to joining the marketing team at CCC&TI, she worked in fundraising and marketing in the nonprofit sector. She is a 1998 graduate of Mars Hill College and has more than 25 years’ experience as a writer, graphic designer, and photographer.
In addition to her work at the college, Bowman also participates in a variety of volunteer service work through her church and other community service organizations. She lives in Granite Falls with her husband, Brad, and daughter Bella, and has two sons, Parker and Levi, who are sophomores at Western Carolina University.
