A’brianna was born in Philadelphia and moved with her family to Holly Springs at 5 years old. A’brianna is in her senior year and a transfer student at North Carolina Central University. She is pursuing her Bachelors of Arts in Mass Communication with a concentration in media studies, and is expected to graduate in December 2023.

Through her experience at N.C. Central University, A’brianna has developed a passion for journalism. Currently, she is a student reporter for her campus newspaper, the Campus Echo. Her involvement on campus also includes serving as a member of Alpha Kappa Mu, Lambda Pi Eta, and Tau Sigma honor societies. She has also been selected for the HBCU Communication PhD Pipeline program. Following her undergraduate experience, A’brianna hopes to further her education and pursue a Masters in Mass Communication and Juris Doctor degree through a joint/dual degree program.
