Open doors: A gift for giving

For Courtney Wolfe, a first-generation college student, Christianity runs through her family. At Merritt’s Chapel United Methodist Church, she is the youth representative on every committee and participates weekly in services and youth group. However, Courtney’s senior year of high school produced some unforeseen challenges. In the following video, she explains how education strengthened her faith and created a new career path.

Take a look inside her story, and stay tuned all week for profiles on people, churches, and programs that lie at the intersection of faith and education. We’ve also started a Twitter page that will be dedicated to stories and conversations surrounding this topic. Feel free to follow at @EdNC_Faith
