Christie Murphy has taught at Ragsdale High School in Jamestown, North Carolina for the past 10 years. A Hope Street Group Teacher Voice Fellow, Murphy teaches Advanced Placement Government and Civics and Economics. Murphy was Ragsdale’s 2016 Teacher of the Year and voted most passionate about her subject by the student body. Murphy has a Bachelor of Science in Business and Secondary Education. She also holds a Master of Public Affairs from UNC-Greensboro.
