Jemilia S. Davis, Ph.D., is a program coordinator at the Belk Center. As a program coordinator, she provides critical support for designing, implementing, and evaluating the President’s Academy, Trustee’s Institutes, and other relevant programs for the executive leaders in NC community colleges. Dr. Algie Gatewood is the fourth president to helm Alamance Community College (ACC) since it opened in 1958. Prior to joining ACC in 2013, Dr. Gatewood served 10 years as president of Portland Community College Cascade Campus in Oregon. During Dr. Gatewood’s tenure at ACC, the college won its largest ever bond referendum – nearly $40 million – in 2018 to fund a number of major capital projects and expansions.… Read full bio »
Bill is a product of the Community College System. He received his Associate of Arts from Miami-Dade Community College, which inspired his dedication to serving the community college concept.
