Andrea Smith


As Bank of America’s chief administrative officer, Andrea Smith is a member of the executive management team. She is responsible for the company’s three-year strategic plan, its capital, recovery and resolution planning, as well as delivery of the bank’s capabilities in 90 U.S. markets. Smith also oversees global security, real estate in 40 countries, and a $23 billion spend with suppliers. She joined the bank in 1988 and held several leadership positions including head of Human Resources. Smith is a thought leader on workforce development, education and economic mobility. She serves as co-chair of the Leading on Opportunity Council, which is focused on addressing economic mobility.
